Aris Caves

All rooms are decorated traditionally, with soft colors to soothe body, mind and soul, are sparkling clean ( they are thoroughly cleaned once a day, sometimes even twice a day) and well equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure that your stay will be as comfortable and pleasant as possible (there are no TVs, but taking a break from TV can actually be a good thing, if you think about it. Free Internet access is provided though.). There is even a fully equipped kitchenette to prepare your own meals, if you wish. The view from every room, and especially from the terrace will take your breath away. No matter how many photos you might have seen, nothing beats the original. Watching the sunset and sunrise from Aris Caves in Oia, is a memory you will be holding dear for many years to come. Local restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and tourist shops are all only a few minutes away from Aris Caves, so you won’t even need to take the bus to get around Oia, most of the times.

The hotel staff will treat you like a family member. Incredibly friendly and always willing to answer every question you might have, provide clarifications, make suggestions and recommendations, they are propably the best people you could ever hope to meet. They are always available to help with any problem that might come up, therefore do not be surprised if you see guests asking them all kinds of questions, all day long. If you need help with calling a taxi, renting a car, having your lost luggage delivered , detailed info on where to eat, what to eat, and what to watch out for, the hotel staff will gladly come to your rescue.

The prices are a lot better compared to other hotels in Oia. This is important, as Oia is generally considered to be one of the most expensive places in the island of Santorini. There are plenty of stairs up and down to get to your room, but if you see this as a chance to burn some calories, you will not have a big problem with it.

Trying to describe Aris Caves, in Santorini, is like trying to describe what heaven is like. This is one of those situations where you just have to be there to see it for yourself. Once you make the decision to visit, it is for certain that you will have the time of your life.
